    28Ga Load using 20/28 powder

    Anyone have a recommendation on loading for 28 ga shells with 20/28 powqder

    What hull are you planning on using? Several I know use Winchester HS hulls and like this load:

    That's the load I use, reduced by about half a grain. I like 20/28 a lot, in the 20ga as well as the 28.

    I checked the web site your refered.
    I just used the standard MEC 9000 #14 bushing, which throws 12.5gr of 20/28, instead of the #15 bushing recomended. Only using HS hulls and Winchester 209 primers with a Claybuster WW28HS wad. Results were wonderful..

    I shot the first Skeet straight with a 28ga in about 15 years.. I think Ill stay with this load.
