    Swell news

After the wanton and dark-of-night slaughter of a dozen pigeons by a raccoon last summer and then questions raised on the viability of the three replacement birds, this is swell news.
Hopefully, the young pigeon will survive this cold snap.
While I have my doubts, one will see...if nothing else, the loft has been reenforced to a level worthwhile of the title, Loft Knox.

If the young pigeon lives, I will name it Comma.
I vote to give half of the days in August to October.

Because commas are like mommas? They make you pause.

But a good name if you had two.

What's the difference between a cat and a comma?

A cat has claws at the end of its paws; a comma is a pause at the end of a clause.

The name "Semi Colon would have given the bird a first and last name. Very formal.

    Well, at least semi-formal.
