    Otto Wormbier - Dead!

Otto Wormbier has died. Cause of death has been attributed to oxygen deprivation. What now?????

    It's a horrible happening.

We actually know only what we've been told.

Would any of us here have to North Korea? I certainly would not.

Did Wormbier mess around somehow, as some have said or alleged?

For someone as smart as he is said to have been, why wasn't he smart enough to stay the hell out of N. Korea?

    Did

What did the North Koreans do to him?
I've done few of the things I said I'd do and about all of the things I said I wouldn't

The Dr.'s said his brain injury was not caused by trauma (beating him in the head), but by oxygen deprivation. I don't think the N. Korean guards choked Otto Warmbier out physically. It would leave trauma marks.

Think like North Koreans - what did they want to do? The despise and hate Americans. They wanted to torture Otto and make him suffer. So, they used techniques they could use over, and over, and over. Not leave any marks. And destroy the hated American - break him - destroy his brain.

I think they used a combination of waterboarding (just for fun), and strapped Otto into a chair that had armrests. Kinda like the kind of chair they use when they execute someone in an electric chair. They secured his legs, arms and chest - then they put a plastic bag over his head until he suffocates, and passes out. As soon as he passes out, they remove the bag and let him revive.

His prison guards alternate these tortures, and administer them 4-5 times a week. Perhaps daily. The result of the oxygen deprivation, repeatedly, week after week, takes it's toll. They destroyed his brain. Irreparable damage occurs, and it killed him. Vicious.

    Yeah right.
Old hawks just want another war.
Going on 20 years since we went to war in A-stan.
    We sure showed them.
    And how about them Iraqi's?
    Sure solved their problems.
    Ruined Europe in the process.
    Oh, and Syria now too.
Yepper's, our Soviet buddies have officially declared our aircraft as targets.
So now we are going to try and not have a shooting war with the Soviets over Syria.

So now we are going back 65 years to teach a lesson.

I heard from the talking heads that the Wormbier's will NOT have a medical examination performed.

Greg, it seems to me that doing nothing is a teaching moment in itself. It teaches that we are weak and haven't the national will to protect our citizens.

Could be Wormbier was an intelligence agent and if so, his death was just part of the process. They kill our spies and we kill theirs...SelbyLowndes

How does a country protect a citizen who deliberately goes into harm's way?

How does a country protect a citizen from his own stupidity?

Remember Ryan Lochte at the last Olymics?
